One of our achievements is the certification of our comprehensive environmental management system according to the international environmental standard ISO 14001 in December 2008. With the establishment of the worldwide accepted environmental management system, we created instruments for the systematic regulation and documentation of our environmental activities.

This demonstrates that Lufthansa Cargo AG assumes responsibility for their activities and actively strives to register the environmental consequences of their processes, products and services and to continuously reduce them. In addition to annual internal and external supervisory audits, every three years the entire system of operational environmental precautionary measures is checked by external auditors for recertification.
