Cargo Human Care is a humanitarian aid project founded by Lufthansa Cargo Transport Management and Flight Operations in cooperation with doctors Germany wide. The main engagement is offering direct help and support for the needy in Nairobi, Kenya.
Since 2004 The SOS Children Village and the Mothers Mercy Home provide practical medical care, medical equipment and medicines. The medical supplies and doctors are transported on Lufthansa Cargo flights. The doctors do not receive any pay for their services.
The necessary coordination within Germany is done by LCAG employees as well as the involved doctors on a voluntary basis.
One hundred percent of the donated funds go to local aid.
